Ok what the problem is that the wings got stuff and they won't drink water

I'm not sure what you mean by stuff. Any other symptoms? How old are they? How are they acting? How long have you had them? What does their poop look like?

Quote: Quite right... many people do raise just one species, and those people don't usually have issues with blackhead, and many peafowl breeder keep same age chicks together, and some of us keep them off the dirt until they are 3-6 months old.

This is how one person (AugeredIn) keeps theirs:

But, when they do get to the ground they receive all the Pathogens together! Do you have any statistics on the % of death comparing the 2 methods?
That's a good question, and no, I don't think anyone has those numbers.

they have been pect to death just babies they are acting like they are dying but they are not just today bown swirlie like a worm

Raising poultry is simple - unless one complicates it by raising multiple species together and breeding as well.

Excellent point.
Raising chickens and ducks is easy, even raising them together is easy... Gets much harder to raise turkeys or peafowl on property that has had chickens on it.

What I know from experience is that blackhead will kill younger birds much faster than it will kill older ones. First four I lost were lost within a few days from first showing symptoms even with aggressive treatment and supportive care. So that was four out of 8. The next year I raised all of them off the ground, and those that I kept, which was maybe 25, one died several months later. So unofficially, based on really small numbers, I would have to say that mine do better the longer I keep them off the dirt.
