Yeah, I know...in your own little corner of the world. You'll never expand your horizons that way.

Oh, I've traveled before.... It used to be fun. I just prefer staying in one spot now!

I like separate quarters. I have 3 small breeder units I put them in if they're vacant. It is the perfect size for a broody with eggs/chicks. This is the apartment with a broody black leghorn that hatched some penedesencas. This is a nest in the main coop where an Orpington hatched some Welsummers and Ameraucanas. I gave this hen 34 chicks. Quote: I have too many hobbies. I can't keep up. Is that a septuple negative? You didn't trust yourself. I don't use checks any more. They don't always happen that fast. I had one take 2 days to unzip about a week ago. There were others hatching so I didn't try to help. It made it out and is doing fine now. One persistent and resilient dude. I guess those stories - as cute as they are - are why people grow up not getting the threat that predators can be, till it's too late. I mean nothing by it, just an observation. I don't think that school ever dismisses class. I don't trust any cheap hygrometer. In fact, I don't currently use one. I use a gram scale to weigh eggs periodically. I can't see air cells most of the time anyway. Here's some decent humidity meters you can trust. http://www.thermoworks.com/pH-Humidity/Humidity If you're building your own incubator, this sensor isn't stand alone but at $5 and accurate to 5% is good enough. https://www.adafruit.com/product/386 It means it should be left under the hen. If it means anything else, you can't do anything about it anyway. You cannot improve on the conditions under a broody hen. If something goes wrong, it means it wasn't meant to hatch or that you handled and interfered too much. Leave eggs under broodies alone. Do you think you know better than a broody hen that is a descendant of a million year line of broody hens? :thumbsup My wife discovered my LG in the spare bedroom this morning. After over a month. It has a chick I have to pull out today. I don't think the others from that bunch will do anything. I have a lot due on the 26th. She said, what is that thing in the bedroom with a chick in it? She follows my hobbies so closely. They can stay off a long time at the beginning of incubation, especially if it is hot out. They can sit for 12-24 hours, quit and start up again - successfully. Good eye. heavens as in sky I don't blame you. If people brood in their basement, you could also do a broody there. No it was just an anomaly. I think it happens to all animals but more often in egg layers. Weird things happen when those genes get jostled and inappropriately heated. It was a non functioning 6 toed leg that grew out of its rear end. One of the other legs didn't work either so I put it down. X2 For emphasis? They look like they're still alive.
For some reason, I have to pay $5 more to pay the landscaper with a check, but he won't get a credit card reader for his phone.

You need this.
If you're going to say suppose in a shortened form, you should say s'pose, not 'spose. And because that is an interrogative sentence, you need to put a question mark after it.

Banti, help!

If you're going to correct spelling and grammar on the internet, you have your work cut out for you.
Although, I can't help myself sometimes.

I hope she doesn't jump from a table.
She probably is liking her freedom.
The scary decision will be regretted either way.
The monitor wasn't properly plugged in.
I think regrettable beats scary. What's done is done.

Glad you figured it out.

Yes, it did

Incorrect grammar always catches my attention.

I was a proof reader for a publishing company (another job I forgot to list). I was appalled at the typos they put out and volunteered my services. Since then, I've been a spelling and grammar Nazi.

Stay in the bull pen, then, or I'll put you in the back seat of the tank
Speaking of bull pen, how are your Os doing/

I always loved travelling and still do. However, it isn't ad much fun without sufficient time and expendable funds.

Cash is still king. Can he write receipts?

What a mess. I just pulled the single chick out of the LG. Lifting the lid and trying to grab the chick as it shot out before the cat got it, a flashlight sitting on the lid dropped in and broke 2 eggs. Now I have to pull everything out and wash the thing before the yolk gets baked on.

Later!!!
