As far as I know, this is the only time this thread's been this dead at this time of day since its birth in November.
It is awfully quiet here. You have any big plans today?
I'd like to finish the skirting around the new run. Other than that, no.
That sound like a good project to get done. How big is the run?
Just 4-5' x about 20'; nothing monstrous, but I don't need to keep many birds in it at a time. It's just for young stock to choose replacements for the older hens.

Sounds like you could finish it today.

Quote: I guess you won't be finishing your run, something else seems to have come up.

Tomorrow's another day; the work isn't going anywhere.

Cards beat the Cubs again. Tight game 4-3, Going for the sweep tomorrow afternoon. Thanks. It's not always idyllic. Temps can range from -28C to 45C. Most years we get sufficient rain to make things pretty lush. You just can't keep things from growing from April to June. It's like a green explosion. While their size is no longer impressive, these are the oldest mountains on the continent. There's some beautiful country in these old hills. Probably why I haven't moved yet. If you'd like, From time to time I'll share videos of some of my favorite places around here.
You forgot the awful humidity ;) Not to mention the wild swings that give us tornadoes and ice storms (like 65° mid day with sun to 15° by dark with an ice storm), it can be beautiful though.
