All my juveniles do this in the middle of the day. As soon as they walk out of the shade into the sunlight, they plop over onto their sides and fan out. I'm thinking... why not just get back in the shade? Birdbrains...

Or maybe wildlife rescue can help catch it if you can't or aren't comfortable doing so. Those beaks and talons are sharp and I bet it's scared...

Sounds like the best plan of action. I'd leave it up to the "professionals" because if has a broken wing and it's not captured and handled properly, it could cause further damage.

Hey friends. I am new to hatching/candling and am on day 6 with shipped eggs. I set 6 eggs. This morning 1 was clear and I had 1 blood ring. Opened them up and they were scrambled from shipping. I was kind of expecting it from when I first candled. I saw bubbles in them. However, on my other 4 I'd like to describe what I see and find out if its good or bad. When I candle from the air cell down (because I am being so careful not to disrupt the air cell anymore than USPS already did) I see what is like an egg with 4 layers. I see the air cell, then veins raining down the sides of the shell, then a darker ring, then clear egg. I do not see an embryo or a circle of vessels. Not sure if I will see that around day 10, or maybe never? I look at the candling pics online and it looks so perfect. That lottle round emryo and the vessels radiating out from it. My eggs are light brown. They're barred rock. Does it sound like they're normal or is there a problem?

Sorry, Kathy, but I have to disagree; good way to get yourself, or the bird, or both seriously hurt, unless you know what you're doing. Better to let the pro's handle the whole operation. I think it's either a hawk or a falcon of some sort.

idk when it will.but I have it for over week plus.and when I first candles it it was about 7_11 days old
