Chores were done with an extra Duckling.
On the plus side, she can say "turkey".

Thanks everyone for the responses about how to keep my flock cool in the summer! I haven't any since I took in all the suggestions.

But....

Now my eggs shells aren't that hard. My birds won't eat the oyster shells either. What else can I do to keep their shells hard?

You can save your egg shells, bake them for a while to kill anything and dry them. Then crush them into fines and feed them like oyster shell. Also check the level in your feed.

When you use egg cartons to put shipped eggs in, you cut off some of the bottom, right? I'm confused about what cut down means.


I'm kinda scrambling because I missed the fact she even sent the eggs until last night!
