Just saying that I am very tempted to get a Feather Footed Bantam special or a Silkie special from Ideal. I you get 25 you can get them for .90 and $1 a piece right now. Would work on the broodies that need chicks instead of infertile eggs.

Is anyone here familiar with the Aloha chicks breed? There is an add on Craigslist in my area that is selling aloha chicks for $1 each. Is this a good deal? Are they good breeds for the heat? Are they good egg layers?



Also, a family member is moving, and is giving me their 2 goslings. Can I let a broody hen raise them and then let them live with my chickens? Or will they not get along?
