Bummer. Heat index was over 101 today. My Penny is doing OK.

102 and I don't think they use an index here. It's probably 30% humidity right now. Glad your hen is doing well in it. One of the chicks were laying with their feet straight out the back and I thought it was dead.

our temps have been in the nineties whth humidity at 88% right now.

No i havnt just water to keep it moist. Now does anyone know if he will straighten his neck out and stop laying with it on his chest?

I really wish you would try the Vitamins. Now, especially if wry neck is setting in. Plus, Neo on the yolk that is left. Putting water on it, might cause infection. :/

I use pine. I watch them, and add paper towels if they are idiots.

I do too, although I add the liner if they are dummies.

lol...I'm sure a lot of you are going what? Don't you just love how I come in every 200 or so posts, and do catch up...on some posts? Some of you may or may not remember where, when that was talked about by now. Sorry. I only come in once in a while...I'm worried about little ducky.

Couldn't break her. Tried for the last three days. Every afternoon same story setting on more eggs. So I'll have to pull new eggs from her every day.

I missed out, with my coming in every now and again, how did you try to break her? Do you have a cage? I use an open cage, looks like it was used for rabbits.
How are you Pens.? We are going to get real hot here in a while. Glad I don't have a broody. That would be tough on her. :/
