I had to go get them before her fresh egg cooled off. I did not think about it until I was bringing them in, but I do not think I will be eating the older eggs. I am sure they have already begun to develop considering the heat the last few days. This led me to think about just putting them into the incubator. I think I just might do that.

Actually, the incubator is already crammed with chicken eggs. Even after removing the clear and the blood ring ones last night, I can only fit one duck egg if I rearranged the chicken eggs. With my luck, it will be another drake. Which I would eat.

When I was candling, there was a perfect view of one of the chicks. It was kicking at the light, and pecking at it.

Actually, the incubator is already crammed with chicken eggs. Even after removing the clear and the blood ring ones last night, I can only fit one duck egg if I  rearranged the chicken eggs. With my luck, it will be another drake. Which I would eat.
