Pretty!!! and I am sure lovely EGGS!!! Welcome @bappl
I just put in eggs yesterday. This will be my third time incubating. I'm extremely excited about this batch because it contains not only Black Copper Marans but also some olive eggers!! My olive eggers are from my beautiful Easter Egger hen, Bubbles, and my Blue Marans rooster, Jaxon. I can't wait to see what color they turn out to be! I also added in my eggs from my Cuckoo Marans, Barred Rock, and Rhode Island Red hens. The only roo I have is Jaxon so they're all mixed with him. I am interested to see how much darker the Barred Rock/Marans cross and Rhode Island Red/Marans crosses eggs will be once they start laying. Does anyone know? I can't wait for the next 21 days to pass! The picture is my Blue Marans roo and my Cuckoo Marans hen. I'm not all that familiar on Marans color genetics yet. What color will their offspring be?![]()
see if any of these can help!
