Yes as the ones I have are not as pure as they should be. So hoping this hen is better. Problem with rare ones not enough genes in the pool.

The carrots I did have good luck with were in a greenhouse here in the winter. Peas are started in the fall and do well in the spring if the gophers don't get them first. I haven't been as diligent in the gardening section lately

We do freeze here so I've got to watch that

Mine is usually around 45%.

For the first 18 days, I just run it dry. My house is around 35 to 37%. Lock down I run it at 65 - 75%
