Hi I've just had two duck eggs hatch woooo!!!

Now the humidity it up to 82%, is this ok? Will it go down? I've opened up the vent fully

3 roos are gone. Now I can move 2 others out of the grow out pen so there will be less boys in that pen to cause trouble. The others will get a couple more weeks to put some meat on there bones before I process those that aren't up to SOP.

Nice to have more space. I actually have one empty coop now. Not for long I'm sure. I've got some rearranging to do this weekend as well.

Yea the space is nice. I've actually got two empty small coops (only suitable for 3-4 birds or quarantine). If the teenage hormones continue in the grow out pen I'll probably have to separate them a bit more.

That's why I did all mine last weekend. They were out of control with the hormones.

The fourth (and last) Buff duck hatched last night! I put them all in the brooder this morning and so far so good!

I woke up to find two of the Cayuga had hatched after I went to bed! They are so hard to get a picture of though. They're solid black so they blend right in with the tray
