Thank you I am slightly giddy over it. Few goodies for it too! Plus some paint to spruce up my old ones with to make em look better. Have 2 that are very old at work.

Painting the same color?

This one is called chick chick (original I know lol) but it's the only one who listens to me... It's follows me everywhere when I get it out.

That must be something to see. Mine are so wild they are a challenge to grab out of the incubator before they shoot across the room for cover.

Thank you I have a collection of em going. My first with ball bearing slides.only rolling one though.

Almost everything I have is on wheels except my drill press. Even the workbench. As an apprentice, it was very hard for me to get good toolboxes. All of mine were hand me downs. Either drawered Kennedy's like yours that was so old the Journeyman didn't want it. Another box I got was one that had been sabotaged. Everyone hated the guy who's box it was. They broke in to it and poured acid all over everything. He abandoned it. They gave it to me but I had to clean it out. That took 3 days.

Our toolmakers actually made great toolboxes for other trades. They are extremely heavy duty with double doors a big top drawer and 3 shelves. The millwrights put wheels on them.
Each woman that became an apprentice had a brand new box made for them. Only a couple of the male apprentices did. By the time I went in, they were tired of building them and only made them for women.

HELP!!! I dun goofed I was going to toss this duck egg that was due Monday haven't given humidity since Tuesday it is zipping what humidity should I give it idk how long it been since it pipped first and last time I will make this mistake please help. I will sit on my hands.

Just fill all reservoirs if you can do so without opening.

The tinners make wheeled bases with drawers at my plants or use to. Now most apprentices get a hand me down box or two or buy one used. Some of us were given a new roll around but they tip easy, I have one. Being ain the toolmaker bunch I need 2 rolling ones, one for the floor and one for the toolroom plus a bench box or two. My problem is I am too short to place my base under them to see the top box when opened, even the Apprentice box. May be the first to have a step up on my roll around once it's full.

The egg is pretty well zipped I have hatched two chickens in the past but they are different big time because they had the right humidity and where hatching the day they where due. He is 4 days late little humidity and no sign of life till my sister said something and this is a show quality call duck offspring (smaller beak few people I know of in my area that are all experts have hatched them) big accomplishment I have read a lot on assisting and I will wait an hour or two before I get my hands on it would that be good long wait??? I'm in a bit of distress since I was not expecting this and have been trying to hatch this breed of duck for 3 years.
i think that is too long

Thank you for your help calming down this is a miracle all the way.
call ducks are said to be the hardest to incubate, how long has it been zipping??

Idk I gave up on the egg 3 days ago when it showed no signs of life and I was just really busy so I didn't toss it(thank goodness) but my sister went into the room it was in and freaked out knowing how long I've been trying to hatch this type of bird and now I'm freaking out. It was chirping and breathing and working its little bit off and I think it's taking a small brake so how long should I wait I think it can finish on its own but not sure.

Hi all! Happy woman here! Time spent with Dad, lunch eaten with Dad and I got a big dang toolbox cheap! Wooooohooooo!

With ducks, Forever. For me watching? I'd probably be assisting if it is not at least partially out by two hours after zipping.

i would assist after 2 hours, especially with such an important bird

Perhaps it was the tinners. I couldn't remember. I know the gauge of metal used is very thick so it had me thinking it may have been another trade.
I was just about to suggest a step stool.
