Saftey rules for workers now in place. Anything over a certain temperature and they have to use the buddy system.
Get above the temp allowed and you have to quit working. I'll have to ask my brother in law the specifics of these new rules. He was trying to explain them to me Friday but I'm afraid I wasn't absorbing the facts.

Quote: I've never used a leg hold trap, so don't know, but, unless you dispatch whatever's caught on the spot, how do you move a hurt, live, wild animal safely without getting bit?

Chain the trap, leg hold, conabear to a metal stake (pipe, rebar, whatever you have that's heavy) and shoot whatever is in it first. Have some practice in this with groundhogs, yeah they get a bit of an attitude too.
I know this, and MC's learning it, but she doesn't use firearms
.
When I first got my .243, I was itching to put the crosshairs on something. Finally spotted a groundhog walking away from me & let one fly. No reaction. Thought I'd missed, but it didn't run off. I walked up to it & saw that I'd caught it in the back of the head, literally stopping it dead in its tracks.

..
I will flash it. That will scare it to death!
...
I was scared to death by a flashing once. Well, not dead but scarred for life. Just like all the scars on the aforementioned flash. It was dirty Debbie walking out the door of the factory.

I have also used a bow and arrow and a machete to get the job done. A .22 is quicker.
