I have not yet, I though I had my DH convinced but doesn't seem that way anymore and his cows are all grass fed 100%Did you get it? Herfords don't have as much meat, but if it is a good deal home raised beef is sooo much better than the nasty stuff at the store.
Glad you enjoyed your trip. Any idea what is wrong with Daisy Mae?@ChickenCanoe . Good morning. To answer your question, my animals did well while I was vacation. I didn't loose any, the only issue I have is my goat Daisy Mae is still not well. I gave her another dose of LA300 this morning.
If I get up north this fall I will get with you on the cockerel. You are near STL. right?
Hey everyone! I have been so busy that I have not made it online. I love vacation, but it seems to make the weeks around it crazy.
My vet did not say, I thought it was coccidia, since her milk stopped overnight and she got the runs, but once she got a fever of 106 I was unsure. She also dropped a ton of weight over a couple of days and got lathargic and withdrew. Before I left per the vet she was treated with two doses of LA300 three days apart with daily doses of B complex, Thiamine, Red cell, and Diatomaceous earth paste, we also gave her wormer and a mineral shot. She improved, but she has plateaued only partially hanging out with the others and still really down in weight and a bit lathargic. So the vet ordered another shot, and I am going to get probiotics tonight after work. She is so sweet even after being a pin cushion and getting gag worthy syringes of gunk. I just wanted her well. I dropped off poop samples from all of them Sat.Glad you enjoyed your trip. Any idea what is wrong with Daisy Mae?

Quote: Ok, you're working with a vet that's good. Otherwise I would recommend looking at Nuflor Gold and seeing if that would seem to be the right medicine for what her symptoms are. Best wishes for her.
I will read on that for later, but my large animal vet raises both horses and goats. She breeds and judges goats so I trust her.Ok, you're working with a vet that's good.
