Small flock diseases are in many cases, an easily avoidable disaster.

I had black, white capped black and gold laced polish.
yes it is, unfortunately i have no way of quarantining except to keep them in my basement but then the dog would eat them or the husband would throw them outside-he hates my chickens

i would like to keep polish, i am going to build another coop hopefully, one that is easier to access, clean etc

@DwayneNLizPlease stop throwing them in, you don't want to have to cull a flock and start again.
I know. I brought in some pullets to have blue and green egg layers and was quarantining, but did not think about how seperate I needed to keep me. I had to cull my flick after getting MS. My beautiful RIR, Lavender Trio, and others including my beloved Georgie. Trust me quarantine is soooo much better than the alternative.
