Quote: Now I know what you're talking about; just never knew it by that name. Only problem with that way is having to toenail the studs...I hate toenailing. I build them on the floor of whatever I'm building & wait for help if they're heavier than I can handle. I have a 16" guide for studding, which makes life a lot easier. Framing lumber all cut with a miter saw, again on the deck. Only thing I don't have is a nail gun, but I will have before I undertake another project of this size. May wind up buying one for the roof trusses on this one before it's done. Just hate spending $180 for something I don't have that much use for.
Renting for day or half day an option? I think True Value hardware rents tools, and I have another place in town that does also.
Hi Banti!
I caught a momma and three babies.
lol
Hi MC!
Now would be a good time to tell you all that the guy I'm getting my chicken eggs from today also has DUCK eggs!!!
Must practice self-control!!!
Just get the duck eggs and set them, this is no time to practice self-control.
Hi Phil!
Hi Benny!
Quote: Hi Whites!
Mornin' Mike,
That's an option, alright, but I can get my BIL back over here with his; I just hate being dependent on someone else if I don't have to.
