Did you eat it with salt and lemon? Tried to pickle it?

No just plain the salt and lemon would definitely help the seed core. I did put pieces minus seeds into picking juice to see how they do. They are a fairly crisp cuc even when bigger. They get much bigger

Do you have a favorite pickle recipe?

Oh my gosh I watched the video of the guy making Turkish coffee. I love his measures one tablespoon per cup he says and then proceeds to put the whole bag in the cup and half of water.

Looks like very strong coffee

Left chicks and bigger chicks out during day to free range and they have done wonderful! They kid of stay in their respectful places lol example under chestnut tree and hen under bushes across driveway so I don't really know how they will do in coop together but no killing of chickens yet or being pecked to death

Love seeing my babies out in the yard!

Morning I'm glad you can free range. I tried too many predators here. They are fun to watch out and about though.

The mommas had no problem with me going in to move the wall for them this morning. They were happy to get some scratch, and I think they liked the meal worms too. I hope so! Just touching the bag is enough to gross me out.

Just salt and water I sometimes add, garlic, dill, hot chili, lemon slice ect.
It is a strong coffee as coffee should be!
I add to this coffee a leaf or 2 from a Sweet scented geranium while the water is boiling or a drop from Orange flower extract in the end, it makes it very special and that my freind is the Libian Jewish coffee!
