Sorry if already posted, sinus infection has me a bit more off plump than normal. There is peeping in the egg somewhere in the bator today.

So those skunks I nearly stepped on coming out of the coop last year may have been on a more nefarious mission than chicken feed...?
Yup! It is kinda like a majority of people thinking raccoons just want trash and eggs. So do cats. We know they kill birds though. Ironically, most of us have local cats that can be trusted around our flock.
Havahart has a video on how to use the trap. Not once did he mention that the raccoon was a predator. He just mentioned trash.

Good to know.... I never did much research on skunks.

Yep..... The neighborhood kitty has been caught with a songbird a few times when she was younger, but never once so much as looked at my chickens..... The chickens are terrified of her, but she could care less. I still watch her tho; cause I have little babies out there most of the time.

Giant nuggets a month old now I think??? Lil stinkers going at it through the fence with my 4 month old Mottled Cochin Cockerel that drags the freaking Guinea away from his girls. Dang kids!
