So the more reading I do with these smaller size serama the more I am kicking my arz!!! I seem to keep running into this statement "birds that small are notorious for fertility problems" So am I to assume no matter how many switch ups and switch outs I am still going to have this issue!" What have I done to my kiddos purdy birdies!!! I need to candle and see what is actually alive in this bator now.

Have you trimmed around the vents? That might be part of it?

This morning I candled half of my serama eggs. They are on day 7 and 8. I candled 10 (only half) and only had one blood ring out of the bunch

I need to mark aircells though. I will do that tonight when I can take my time.

THE above cots some are alive... I left them all ....
all the eggs in the carton trash but a polish and its with the others below now.

I am left with these in the serama cooler, I will go grab this weeks and set them later.

The marans are early to see, but I see lines comin down from the top...two are very questionable.... I didnt candle mine.

I will send them walkin out the interstate now..... should be there by Sunday

Thank you! I am syringe feeding water with antibiotics. I will try it for 24 hours. If nothing happens by tomorrow them I will be culling this baby.

. It was drinking well. So hopefully it will be okay.

yes I did, they look terrible now too.... ugggg
the co I mean roosters are mostly A now from 10 to 13oz although I have two I kept in B they are 14 and 15oz and I think they are the ones doing the job. the funny thing is, it seams the larger hens eggs are fertile as well and the little hens size A are not. so obviously a size issue. sooooooooooooo...... I am thinking.... kiddo worked so hard for this frizzle gene but her birds seemed to weigh in more each generation so I talked her into new stock. and its from shlex. and she has both hens and roos from him along with the best of her flock.. I am at a dead end here. I need to do my homework better... harmonyann tried and she was so frustrated last night she said she dont want them anymore I ruined her frizzles.

I think I am gonna tell her to put them all out in one biig pen and let them do what they want and see what she gets
