I like the ideas. My daughter would have loved to dress her chickens up in costumes....but I can see why most people wouldn't bother.

I love the idea of pumpkin carving and fowl pictures though.

My kids have generic, grandmother-donated costumes this year. LOL

But, the kids are cute, so that counts for something.

12 weeks old - Lavender Orpington - is it normal that he doesn't have much by way of tail feathers yet???

These are the seeds I have to go plant... it appears like our peas don't do well here, it got burned from our heat I have more peas that are starting, so I'll try one more time before giving up. LOL

There's lettuce, Kale, Beats, Tomatoes, Carrots, cantelope, watermelon, onions, and a few other things.
I have to retill and expand the garden, gonna make my husband mow, and then I have to weed.

Our garden is kind of sad right now, but the pumpkins are growing great, and just got their flowers. So I'm doubting we'll have home-grown pumpkins in time for halloween either... but maybe thanksgiving?

My oldest will be the big bad wolf - My daughter wants to be Elsa, My toddler is gonna be a grumpy carebear, and my littlest one, will be a pink, fuzzy, dragon.

I usually dress up, so we'll see what i'm in the mood for. I haven't decided yet. Since im nursing, all my corsets and fancy 1800's dresses, have to wait. And dressing like a hooker these days gets funny looks from other parents, so I have to find PG rated costumes. haha

I just received the eggs and the box had a small dent in the top and my mom said that the usps guy had the box upside down, and i didn't take a pic of the dent in the box because it was just the little corner and my mom wants to know what she owns you told you I would send you money for them.
