Wonderful as breakfast with some sheep or goat yogurt and some fresh mango and a good Italian coffee!
Quote: Pretty much. The gate was on the uphill side of the pen, water runs down hill, so when I emptied the buckets or pool any water would run down hill, and the ice would sit there till it was warm enough to melt.
looks good
Sounds like the pups are going to be good at their job.So... I've been taking my new dogs (Great Pyr's) out with my chickens, they are just over 12 weeks old.
A pitbul from down the street, (a really sweet female, who's underfed, and occasionally gets loose, they say their big male won't let her eat) came to our house. (My kid fed her a couple weeks ago, feeling sorry for her before we took her home.)
She got near our chicken pens, and my great pyr's tore after her, and chased her off. They got praised.... sooo much... plus hot dogs. All the hot dogs.
Don't get me wrong, I felt kind of sorry for this poor dog, since she's sweet, and her owners aren't feeding her enough... but my chickens come first.
And seeing my barely above a puppy, chase off a pitbull to protect the chickens... makes me get the warm fuzzies...
