Finally got a decent picture of my Oliver Egger roo that I hatched 13 weeks ago. He isn't as big as his hatch mate - the lavender Orpington - but he's starting to fill out.

I think he looks good and healthy!

I didn't even think of quarantining it til granny said something.

Goat friends: I banded the little buckling tonight and now he's just laying there crying. The other boys didn't react that way. Does banding affect individuals differently? I caught both for sure... I was worried the band was a little bit low, but my farm friend double checked when she dropped off the keet and said it looks ok. She said to give him baby Tylenol, but I didn't because I've since read that isn't good for them...

Not positive, but I don't think Tylenol is a good idea.

I think there was a lot wrong with that New York Times article though.... as is their common practice.

It's gonna take me forever to catch up on reading all the posts but hope everyone is doing well. Miss you all-part of me felt good to be back to work and the other part felt useless on desk duty. Mri of the hand & wrist today-I had to lay on my stomach in superman position completely still for almost 2 hours while things were clanging all around me. The tech said nothing major jumped out at her on the image but hands are harder to read than brains????.... I guess we will see Friday. Part of me wants nothing to be wrong but the other part wants to find out whats causing this swelling and pain. I just want to get back to "normal"-whatever that may be for me  Hope everyone's hatching lots of babies and staying healthy. Waiting for dinner to be done for the hubby when he gets home later so I can crash for the night.

I absolutely hate MRI and I have to get them all the time..... Now I totally get oversedated for them.

I can't even say that with a straight face. But thanks!!! I just want to feel like myself again. Its a shame we are always in a staffing crisis and that's how stuff like this happens.....

It wasn't horrible I guess. Just a 3 hour pain. I didn't take anything before hand cause I had to drive and go back to work after but you can better believe I am having a nice glass of red wine as we speak. I would be in bed but the hubby has been such an angel lately, I wanted to make him dinner so stuffed green peppers are in the oven!
