This usually happens 3-4x a month in the non summer months here. Everything is very, very, tropical and green, except end of may-august.

Question, and this may be REALLY dumb... but if my power goes out... if I stick the eggs in my bra to keep them warm until the power comes back on, will the eggs live? I can't think of any other way to keep them at body temp + if our power goes out.

We just got flash flood warnings, which means there's a good chance our power may, or may not zonk out for a few hours.

Sorry MC.... I don't care if you smoke... And I used to smoke in the house with my kids..... Smoked in the car with them too..... Heck didn't think twice about it..... But those are different times... Wouldn't do it now.
Never had kids wear seat belts either....but it was different 34 years ago.

We did a lot of things different back then. Today, we just can't. Can't eat the way we used to, think the way we used to, talk the way we used to... I know that even smoking outside, then walking into the house is enough to hurt Duckling's lungs. She has enough polluting her lungs.

It's not cold.. it's like 80 out there... with water like this. LOL so my horses are not cold, but they're not a fan of the wet. I'm going to have to mix up a bunch of grain for them in a bit and toss it under the shelter so they can eat in peace. poor guys.

Grass is all dead here trees are green well blue green.

The grass is somewhat dead and the trees are losing all there leaves because it's so dry. It was so dusty and dry yesterday when I mowed the grass I could barely see where the line was of where I was mowing.
