Do you use for pea soup fresh or dry? Green or yellow? Do you leave them as is or you process the soup with a food processor?

I usually use dried green peas from the store, soak, and cook.

Onions, celery, parsley carrots, and process with a stick blender

Some salt Black pepper ,cumin and a splash of olive oil and lemon, will give you some wonderful smooth soup!

today it is a 4 h chick chain and it is a sale/auction. Is there anything I need to do when I get a chicken from there

If you get chickens through 4h, you need to quarantine any new birds you bring into your property. Ideally, 2 months, because some diseases won't show up right away,and you can wipe out your entire flock if you introduce a sick bird to your otherwise healthy flock.
