The run right now-it was a muddy mess and the birds weren't looking happy. a new coop without a run for my free range layers is going up on Halloween and we have the materials for serama breeding pens in the garage all set to go. I am taking pics and having Bill take some too to document the progress. Trip to the feed store in a bit.. Other rare breed pens are going up in spring along the other side of the property...

@Sally Sunshine
 I don't like fish either and I eat sushi. Mostly california rolls, spicy tuna rolls, shrimp tempura and a few others.. I also like shrimp with cocktail sauce and in asian food but not italian and lobster and some crab depending what its in...

For a non fish lover you eat a large numbers of them! :lol:
What will happen if you will start to like them? :lol:

I eat shellfish just not fish fish....   Strange I know since fishing is one of my most fav things to do.  I think eating it every meal for 18 years just about would gag anyone.  Fish was fairly free so we fished and fished and stocked up.

Shel"fish" aren't fish, they are mulsucs relative to the slog! :lol:

I had 2 that had some type of leg injury-a swedish flower and a super blue egg layer. I used the tape method on both of them-but of course i used the nurses paper tape. They are great!!! I am sure the SFH was a leg injury upon transport but the SBEL looked more splay. It was hard watching them hobble around but once the strength kicked in the were on the go! I tried the cup and sling method-no luck. They were too squirmy!!

How long did you have them hobbled?
