Ahh that's why I had Buzz and Bear. Both gone now and am considering getting another outside dog.

Anyone have experience with runner ducks?

Someone offered to give me 4 ducklings and I'm trying to decide if I should take them...

No experience but I hear they are fun.

Oh, ouch!!

I've had a disagreement with the lid of the feed box in the coop that ended up with me having a 4 inch long bruise of all shades right across my leg... Lid one, human zero.

haha! My goat rammed into me and I fell into the chicken coop, and hit my leg against the coop latch. The goat was mad that I was feeding the chickens. hahaha. We made it so the goats can't get into the chicken coop anymore.

It was more like Goat 1, human 0... and chicken coop was the weapon of choice? LOL

I have a great pyr that I love, but she sleeps inside during the daytime and prefers to range outside at night. I would like something that alerts to more day-time predators, too.

The shepherds next to us have them when they bring in their sheep for fire control. Motley looking bunch. And gosh can they bark.

Well the sun is coming up. Have several coops to take the deep liter out of and put some back. Hoping to get leaves from landscape friend. He's going to get me a price to take the oak tree down from over the barn before it falls down and takes the barn with it.

Turkeys! Loved my Bourbon Reds! They would talk to me if I whistled the "Sesame Street " theme song, but were otherwise quiet unless there was danger or a visitor.
