And shucks, I may have overly done the excitement on the paint, see no spots, but...threre are spots on the skin, so figure that when the pin feathers come in, there will be black spot there too.

I left her. I will check later for an egg. She as been making a nest for about 3 weeks. so, if she lays an egg i will be thrilled!

You definitely don't want to spook her if she's trying to lay. She's probably nervous enough already. Just take a peek to see if she's off the nest, then check. Just my 3c... (inflation)

So the little hen is still there. But, she got another to come with her. So, two are in there now!
