Good morning everyone. Its windy and wet, but c'est la vie. Id love some snow too, but looking at the forcast, it wont be happening anytime soon. Im waiting for my percolator to finish up, i feel the need for some heavy caffeinated motivation this morning. How goes it with everyone today?

Good morning Speney, CC, Chaos, and M'Lady... and anyone else I may have missed!

I hope everyone is good this morning... enjoying the rain, or snow, or simply the act of breathing!!!

It's wet out there but it goes well. As long as it stays above freezing I usually don't have a problem with the rain.

Agreed. This warm spell has already got dreams of starting my gardens REALLY early jumping about in my head. Atleast the cold weather loving varities of veggies. I was out for doe abt 2 weeks ago, sitting on a log to pass the time, and kicked up the leaf litter with my toe, and eeeeverything is sprouted. The forest plants. The wild roses all have new shoots. Scared me a bit, because i know we are bound for some cold snap soon enough. No me gusto, el nino.

Whites, I dont know much about the heterozygote advantage of sexlinks~ does it get involved in egg laying, I would think so, at least 15 genes are associated with egg coloring. I see exactly what your getting at and I like it.

see this pdf file.... its a start on understanding. I know little of sexlinks so I apologize.

is there any good inexpensive Bator?
Hov-A-Bator. I'm certainly not the world's foremost authority, having only used an incubator twice in my life, but those times were 30+years apart, with the same incubator. Just the fact that the unit sat unused for all those years, then worked perfectly when needed, says something positive about the quality, though I'm not sure what. The only problem I have with mine is that the thermostat is touchy to the point of being a bit difficult to get set, but once you get it there it pretty much stays there. I'd buy another Hov-A-Bator without hesitation if I needed another incubator.
