Check the styrofoams...not sure how much they are these days. Amazon's supposed to be really good.

What good gator can I get for a $100

For a styrofoam bator in that price range, maybe 20-30 dollars more, I would recommend the Genesis 1588. The turner is extra but that is the best styrofoam job on the market.

I looked all through Ebay this morning for some within driving distance...nada. Texas must be the BCM stronghold.

I had the best luck with eggs from Yoo Hoo Farm in Tennessee. I ordered 2 dz he sent 30 I hatched 22. The guy's name is Patrick Ledbetter. Nice birds, dark egg producers

he already hatch plenty out of that bator, he knows what he has to do, buy a dang thermo/hygro and calibrate the da things. Keep it in a place that keeps steady temps, add stuff on that dumb grate at hatch and use local eggs to practice with. End of story.

I won't do shipped eggs, unless UPS or Fedex handles them. After what I've heard about the way USPS handles eggs, I wouldn't ship rocks with them!
