Lucky you! It was a little drier during the last batch, and I kept water in the smallest trough, which kept my RH around 40-50%. The last 1 1/2 weeks have been more humid down here, but not quite enough to keep RH from dropping below 20%. I want to run a little drier this round, so I covered 3/4 of the smallest trough, and it still runs over 40% until the water evaporates. I let it run down to about 25%, then add water again... which is about every 3-4 days. I would have thought with all the moisture coming in from the Gulf, I wouldn't need to add a single drop of water... but sadly, no. I'll just have to monitor air cells like I did last time, and hope for the best. 1 1/2 weeks into the HAL, and all 7 eggs are still looking good. I'm shooting for a 100% hatch rate this time around!!!During the first 18 days I run completely dry. No water and my humidity stays pretty consistent between 25 to 32 %. So I am lucky....but savannah is super humid. It's pretty easy to keep humidity up when is humid outside! !!![]()
