louly this entire batch of eggs was a bust except for one egg and that was an hour away shipping! post on CL and ASK for what breeds you want and see if you can find them closer to you. post in the farm section and ASK not in the wanted section!

NOW you mention that! I just started an ad an hour ago for BCM eggs, in the WANTED section, naturally!

I'm debating about having someone mail me some blue egg layers and silkie eggs and try incubating??? Thoughts??? Saris says she has eggs or did at one time lol.

The eggs I have now are from others in my area. I will be breeding Ameruacanas this time next year but I won't be certified to ship them. Silkies are really popular and I definetly would look for local eggs first.

I don't have Silkies (the breed) I think you saw me say I was getting started in Silkied Ameruacanas, which are true Ameruacanas that have the same feather mutation for the soft silky feathers but they aren't a mixed chicken.
