Do you two remember the fun we used to have in the PA Unite thread (way back when it was full of a almost totally different group of people) drinking at our computers, Chad (Sally, how is he?) and I drinking in our coops? And there was always a few that would drunk bid on eggs on eBay. I miss that!

Cha Cha seems awesome, new house engaged and all. He hasnt called me for some time, my guess is cause he got rid of all his flock, and having a lady and all

I have been thinking about what breeds I'm going to get next year (aiming for 25 chickens total) and was kinda stuck. What is y'all's favorite breeds, with pretty fair production? (4-6 a week)
I have been thinking about: BCM, CCL, salmon faverolles, and banty barred rock
Not all have to be stellar producers, I am aiming for 75% layers and 25% pets and ornamentals.

I'm back. For production the sex-links (at least my RSL's) would be hard to beat. During peak production months I'll get an egg a day, 7 days a week, from my year-old girls. One of the girls is pushing 3 years old and has fallen off a bit, but she's till good for 4+ a week. Even right now, since the molt is finally over, I'll usually get 4-5/day.

Bathed another pair today. Their lice is 95% gone!!! Can barely tell that they even had it once. Almost no more eggs!

What kinda music you listen to sally?

all kinds billy, I tend to stick to heavy metal though more than not, its the age I grew up in highschool and the troublemakers I hung out with, like my first husband

the kids have to have this new stuff blarin on the radio, its ok but the sounds annoy me sometimes, how that can be if I listen to heavy metal is beyond me. But I am also a fan of all he 80's rock bands and I am listening to Metallica now
