OHHH sounds like a plan, I have a pit stop diversion I need to make though! You and me are going to FL to meet Yokel for ice cream! He knows this great ice cream place with real ice cream! The other day he had a banana split. It's all I think about now!!!![]()
Maybe his dad could help him build a better incubator

Since like 1950 somethin
well I have two in a nest box so I was gonna see whut they do thank you!! I was more worried about all the other serama in thereI haven't really had any that I trust to keep their chicks safe from other chickens. Mine are all in small groups..like one roo for two-four hens. If I could segregate a broody hen and give her just a couple to see how she reacts, I might try it. Only with a heat source available too though. I have a friend who has great luck with her broody Seramas when they are only in pairs. I'm not sure what too late would be...on one hand they will be better about bringing out the maternity instinct in the momma if they are really young, but on the other hand, if they are a little older they might withstand it better if she does something stupid...![]()
