I thought about running it hotter, but this is my first attempt with Muscovy eggs, and when I did pea egg, they hatched two days early, so I'll see how I do at 99.5.

two days early! do you have a spot check to check inside there? at each position? curious about cold spots, the heat runs around the top I guess ? its a coil around or what?

I gotta go rest my head, I have to get up even earlier tomorrow they all want Cracker Barrel and I cant stand people so I am in line when it opens, place just gets too noisy for me, love the antiques and stuff but dang building dont take sound too well..

I'm just trying to do everything by the book since it is my first time. I have probably worn grooves in the floor around the incubator. It is probably a good thing got some of Saris' chicks to occupy my time
