Hey ya'll. I think I'm back amongst the living after being under the weather the last couple days. Unfortunately, the work around here doesn't stop. I have been drudging through the days to come in, take a shower, eat and go to bed. But finally feeling like I'm gaining.

Thank you, Lind... uhm... I mean... they're Barred Plymouth Rock. They were black with grey throats, bellies, and butts, but after a couple of weeks the barring started coming out. This is a pic of a couple of chicks, a 1 month old (pullet) and a 2 day old. This month old pullet is much darker than her brothers who get passed the white barring gene from the father. She'll lighten up after her first molt. What kind of chicks are those... my chicks came out looking the same way.
Quote: Don't know, I'll have to check. It's eating ok, possibly too much, or not exactly the right stuff. It's yesterday's goat that didn't get the colostrum.
Thank you,
Mike
