Hey ya'll. I think I'm back amongst the living after being under the weather the last couple days. Unfortunately, the work around here doesn't stop. I have been drudging through the days to come in, take a shower, eat and go to bed. But finally feeling like I'm gaining.

What kind of chicks are those... my chicks came out looking the same way.
Thank you, Lind... uhm... I mean... they're Barred Plymouth Rock. They were black with grey throats, bellies, and butts, but after a couple of weeks the barring started coming out. This is a pic of a couple of chicks, a 1 month old (pullet) and a 2 day old. This month old pullet is much darker than her brothers who get passed the white barring gene from the father. She'll lighten up after her first molt.
