Great, didnt know if once the chicks hatched it was bad to have less that a certain amount, since feed stores minimum is 4ish....
It's always better for one to have a companion at least.

Hoping she'll be okay... at least for her sake.I've got a RIR pullet in sick bay. Not sure if she has broken her leg or it is dislocating at the hip. I feel nothing out of the norm as far a breaks go. She is isolated, eating and drinking so she is in isolation trying to limit her movement. She's in good spirits and healthy otherwise or I'd have rung her neck already for Sunday dinner. We'll give her some time and see if she starts to heal up.
