Good morning. I've been trolling the thread, trying to catch up on the latest... the very latest, I might add. Too far behind to catch completely up, but it is what it is. Been under the weather, but turning the corner now. I'm behind on all my chores, so I'll be popping in and out during the day. I hope everyone is doing well... and Benny ( @Akrnaf2 ) ... I'm going to need a bigger cup!!!

So...final tally is 7 detached egg cells. I obviously can't fit them in the incubator if I'm using a turner for the others...whick I know is a debatable deal. I've cut holes in the bottom on egg cartons enough to fit everyone. Am I doomed to a first hatch of manual turning? As for turning, I mean 'tilting' the carton one side to the other... All my reading in the world did not prep me for this!

Can someone ease my mind that I didn't totally thrash them all with my rookie candling skills that began with candling the wrong end...?

I need help. This is my first hatch and the very first chick pipped and hatched itself in about an hour. Sac is not absorbed!foot seemed to be stuck in it for a bit. Now free but most of yolk seemed to have leaked away and almost seems to be innards and intestines out now. What should I do?

Got her in PM last night, thank goodness she messaged me, this was held for moderation and they finally left it through who knows when, thats why it didnt show up. not liking why this is done... update please @kidykat

Not that it matters a lot, but I'm curious as to how the names are listed in the "currently viewing" box. They're not listed alphabetically or in order of how long anyone's been logged on; I can't crack the code.

Yep, that's me, but not a Hell's Angels rider, they ride mostly Harley's and I ride only the finest Japanese sport bikes.

Remember, all of my cabinets and hatchers are in a climate controlled room at 68* so there is not much need for the insulation but I did my other 2 this way.
One of my other cabinets have the fan/heater combo units in it from incubator warehouse and the other one still has light bulbs with a pair of big computer fans. I prefer the light bulbs because I can quickly tell they are cycling from a distance.

It's good to be back, even in limited capacity... which is normal!!!

I suppose I can call it done, at least for now. The babies are now living on the 2nd floor, and the older chicks have twice as much room to "spread their wings".
