Vaccinate the babies....Even if they are older than a day. If I miss vaccinating at hatch time, I will still vaccinate all youngsters before they go outside.

Oh yes- for sure. I ordered it last Thursday so I'm prepared. My friend is helping me with this hatch (she has a whole ONE under her belt!

). She vaccinated hers and two I have now were from her... I'll just try my best.

In incubator news... Temps creep up to 101, then back to 100, on both thermometers. Humidity dropped to 31%. I added a tiny water in the trough... Does all seem ok by you experts? It's all of day 2.

Can I borrow it for just a couple days? If I shrink most of my horses to, say, rabbit size, I could probably save a million in no time....then I'll send it to you..see?

That's a great idea. Of course the rabbit sized horses would bring in a few million as well beside the feed savings.

Oh my day two. Lots of sleepless nights ahead. Yes the temps sound ok. Especially if that's top of egg. My thermostat has that kind of swing as well. Goes up and down. Not an expert though
The guy that I got the Mareks from also showed me how to vaccinate later. Nice of him.

I broke open the shipped eggs, found signs of development in two other eggs, signs of fertility in another 2 eggs, and I am unsure of the other 4. One was too scrambled to see any thing. Thought in these three?

I missed the humidity question I think what I've learned from the 2016 HAL is that different breeds do better with different humidity so check around on that one. For mine that 31% would be low.

My humidity was still at 10% even with the bottle top witch equalled the same amount as half a plastic egg.
