Yeah, I do, but you gotta understand; I worked 2nd shift 7 yrs. @ IBM, & another 20-25 running newspapers. Those hours aren't exactly conducive to watching a lot of prime-time tv, so I never got very used to it.do you own a television?

should I cull her or let her grow up? She seems to hop or use a wing to get around OK? Though that may change after tomorrow when I move them from dog pads to shavings.
Late response, but I had an abnormal New Hampshire chick in my last order. At first I thought she was blind. I let her tough it out and she survived. Very tough, and very admirable. And I'm a sucker for that. Later it became clear that she wasn't blind, but she was definitely "not right" - best analogy would be similar to cerebral palsy in a human. But she was totally scrappy, didn't put up with any flak or pecking from the rest of the flock (including some large Naked neck chicks/juveniles). So I left her. Until I finally realized that I was never going to feel comfortable letting her try to come into lay, that I would always be worried about her being pecked, and also that she could be really hurt by mating attempts. So I culled her (tiny as she was) at 14 weeks with the rest of the culls at the time. It was a lot harder/sadder than if I had done what I really knew I should have done in the first place, which is to cull her as a chick on day 1. (Especially now that I have read the info on chick culling via CO2). So I would cull her now. (But you really need to follow your own heart on this, so you'll be at peace with your decision.)So what should I do with the chick?
I moved my two "spare" Naked Neck cockerels out of the NN flock when it became clear that big bad Severus Snape was NOT going to be tolerant of anyone else being around "his girls". So Tank and Apoc are in a bachelor pad. Unfortunately Tank is really really randy, and I've got no girls for him at the moment. He can't decide whether to tidbit for Apoc or kick his back side. Or both. Crazy teenager...My black silkie roo only dances for the white silkie hens. I have never seen it dance for the blue hen. But I would think he probably wouldn't dance for another roo either. So, maybe? Can they tell when they are that young?
You guys are funny.
It appears to be a bad sprain. I get a boot, crutches, and desk duty![]()
