Sorry bout the meaty. Once had a large Orpington's hen just up and die on me. No apparent reason must have been heart attack. One hour fine next dead. Argh.

The skunks here bother me much more than the rats but right now the New Years chicks are in the barn where I've heard rats. The ones I've seen I have trapped. I hope I've got the brooder safe enough. So far so good.![]()
