What about "Do not recharge" on Alkaline batteries? Safe to ignore? I've tried recharging them; didn't help much.

Looks like my hatch is done. Ended up with 9 hatched out of 14 fertile eggs. I'm not sure about the one with the yolk sack or whatever it is. I've had it by itself. It seems active and vocal. Well here they are:
They are so cute, nice colors! I love me a chipmunk baby chick.

I did find a phone number, but they are closed for the weekend.
@Sally Sunshine I am not nice! I'm a big bad biker ... Brat. :-D
Hard to believe..you are a sweetheart..by chance, any photos of you on that big bad bike? Maybe you've posted some on here already, but...that means I missed it, because I am one of those brats that .. skips..posts.

Ok, now I wonder what was for dinner at Sally's house. Seems strange she is saying it's time to make dinner, when it's only 2:00 in the afternoon here. Wait, dinner. That can mean lunch in some states. Supper in other states is what dinner is for us, the latest meal. Mid Day we say lunch.

May I add that one should *never* bathe a sick chicken? It might seem obvious to some people, but there have been quite a few posts where people have bathed their sick birds and the bird died. Please, bathe only birds that are healthy! -Kathy

I cannot believe I am caught up on this thread! Its been a busy day with running, cycling, yoga, cleaning coops/brooders, and washing cars. Time for an afternoon coffee before making pasta for dinner... then its time for day 7 candling! - a great way to end an awesome day...(at least I hope)!

Was wondering the same myself. Hello Cynthia
