Vacuum sealing's the best thing to come along since sliced bread. We use it every year when we process deer.
The Seal-A-Meal is one brand; there are a couple others. Not sure what brand ours is without dragging it out, but I believe I bought it from Cabelas. You can also marinate in them. Son calls them "Suckifiers"The seal meal machine if that's what it's called wasn't too much. Kohls has them on sale from time to time.if you get the 30% off coupon it's really affordable. The bags are costly but they can be found on sale as well. The real trick to getting the bag to seal is keeping everything really dry or in the case of sauces frozen. Spices can be added as well. Trick to not overcooking is to cook really slow until it reaches 165* then pull from heat set for a bit and walla it's done spiced or not still very good
Thanks Scott, it wouldn't be nice to brag about your "nice (no frost for 4 days) weather", or even mention your "nice (no frost for 4 days) weather".Good Morning All!
I hope the snow treats everybody nice.
I will not brag about our nice (no frost for 4 days) weather.
