Love me some cream brabanters!

Hi.
I'm pretty excited about my Brabanter group. They completely changed my direction for my flock. I was going to try to create mutts that fit my production goals and looked good. I was going to try for dual purpose but the meat production goal has diminished now that I found the Brabanter. The three I have are fun and I'm happy to start developing the breed toward a standard. The bonus with the less perfect examples is they still lay large white eggs and can join my EE group. My goals with the Brabanters are standardizing and improving production. My EE flock had turned into a dual purpose rainbow egg basket flock.

well If you say so but I get nervous sometimes .:/  we was cutting calves and she was doing the knife work and a friend showed up to watch .said it made him real nervous when she stood up with that bloody knife in one hand and oysters in the other and grinned at hin

I'm addicted to chickens, so I'm already familiar with my impending psych ward stay. DH probably has the number on speed dial. They're coming to take me away...haha hehe hoho to the Funny Farm...

That's awesome! I picked up some hatching eggs last summer for them on CL. Once hatched I could tell they didn't come from excellent stock, but they are sweet birds and I would also like to see the breed improve. Wish you luck with those and if you ever want to sell hatching eggs look me up
