Hi All, I threw 2 more hygrometers in my first incubator. Temps are steady at 100 to 101. Which to me is too high, for a 'bator with a fan. The temps in the "hatcher" are running at 99. MULTIPLE hygrometers. How can my temps be too low to cause my chicks to hatch late, or not at all?. 20 dead out of 20 set is a little extreme.

Again MY eggs hatch with no trouble, even though they hatch day 21 - 22. I've had no heat spikes, my humidity jumps around, but nothing extreme and we are very careful the last few days. I want to try to crack into these eggs to see if anyone is still alive. Should I, or should I just leave them alone ANOTHER DAY with no movement, no pips and no zipping? I'm on day 24 right now.

Thanks!

Thats weird.

Are the eggs coming from the same source? Are the birds older?

Maybe there are defects from the breeding stock??
