I pretty much leave rat snakes alone; they're kinda handy to have around, 'til they get in the house. Then their ask is grass, & I'm the lawn mower. Been known to shoot them in the house if I can't catch them.

Sally, I posted a video. We have no snow right now, but forecasts give us between 1 and 6 inches over the next week with no real way of knowing how much or if it'll stick. Last year we experienced the coldest winter/February on record with temps dropping below zero daily. This year Mother Nature is balancing it all out, I guess.

We have both. Long tailed males are about 9 oz and females are 4 oz. Least weasels are only about 2 oz.
Mink can be up to 4 lbs.

Trust me on this, they can all get into a 1" opening.
