Wow, everyone posts too fast, can't keep up. Had to brave Los Angeles traffic AND all the UCLA students for a Dr appt for my kid. Came home and did another float test on 5. One wiggled. I pipped it. It bled. It's heart was beating, but no chirping, no attempt to move. It didn't survive.

Does it look full term? Sorry about the gross picture.

I don't have my own yet. I have one of those plug in coolers I used to use in my truck that has a fan etc built into it that I think would work great if I had the time to study how to do it. anyone want to help?
Also it is too easy right now to just give eggs to the lady I know with a cabinet that hatches on shares.

Do you mean you got it, or you need it?
sorry, my tablet went wonky while I was writing that. Is there another page that has everyone hatching? The main reference page that local posted is what I have bookmarked so I don't lose it again. If there's an updated who's who page that would be great too.

LocalYokel
13 Dominicker
5 Leghorn, may be White or Brown, mostly Whites in that coop.(Not the cheery oldish dude Whites)
Hope the Doms and Leghorns are fertile.
7 RIR

RECAPS!

2 out of 3 eggs under broody bator are alive/developing, 1 RIR 1 Leghorn, tossed the other.

4 out of 5 Leghorn in bator showing veins!

Some of the RIR look porous.

Hard to tell on the Dom eggs because my flashlight batteries are low, But I can see some developing.

Got a better cage for the broody!

Not a page, just the list Sally just reposted. :)

I'll pull the part 2 article for individuals, but it isn't very updated. I might just set it to open edit and hit revert if things go wrong.

3 cabinets, 5 hatchers and 3 Genesis 1588's for overflow. I do have a few others running around that I don't use but loan out from time to time. I have on my list to build another cabinet and hatcher before spring sale time but haven't gotten around to it yet. I have everything except the time.
Well if you didn't spend so much time dusting poor helpless coyotes.................
