Do you have a bathroom scale? If so, weigh yourself. Than weigh yourself holding the bird. Now subtract your weight and you have a rough estimate of bird weight.

I just have one of those scales they have in doctors offices.(you know, you move the weight until it's level.) Think that would be okay?

Holy moly this is a busy page!!! I doubt I will be able to keep up with all the posts but to answer your questions Sally I have the farm innovators 4200 I did calibrate the temp and have a more accurate meat thermometer inside. I will candle in day 7 and see how things are looking. My boyfriends mom is helping me and she used to incubate eggs in the 50s and 60s ... She was quite excited when I told her we should incubate some eggs so she dug out her much older incubator she was excited that mine had an egg turner tho! I work 10 hour shifts so I am away from my phone about 12 hours every day plus chores at home. I appreciate all the informative posts and research you all have done so as time allows I will pop in and say hello otherwise I will probably just be lurking a little here and there.
