A second blue egg is pipping
This should be goodOk, this isn't really on topic....I have 3 white silkie hens, 1 blue silkie hen and 1 black silkie rooster. We have never seen the rooster mate with the blue....he ONLY likes the whites. I've had about an 75% fertility rate. We finally figured out where the blue lays her eggs and I incubated 2 of them. They were clears. I've now cracked a couple more. Both infertile.
How do I get the rooster interested in the blue hen? Can I separate just the 2 of them? Is it bad to keep 1 hen with 1 rooster?
yesDoes that make a total of three now?
Just walked up on this
