Just cleaned out the coop. Other than dust from the spice and herb blend I sprinkle in the bedding I see very little if any mites.

Could be a lot of reasons, CH.
Hot spots in the bator, age of the eggs at set, and some are just late or early sometimes. Remember they don't wear watches, and there's no room in the shell for a clock.

Great news CH.
Please do yourself a favour, don't rush them or expect them to all be done on the same day. I had a recent hatch that had the first one zip on day 19, the last on day 23. Sometimes Mother Nature takes her sweet time.
