No need to wait until they are 13 weeks old. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but birds even younger can get worms.These birds are all young April to Aug of last year so I was told I could start my twice a year this spring. That's testimate on why to do more. Especially when you consider there have not been any domestic birds on my land in the 13 years I have been here in a new coop. Another reason for chicks over 13 +/- week pullets.
